The Welsh league hasn't been blessed in recent years with young talent, but that has changed with the emergence of Isaac Lee. A proper modern day ball playing central defender, turning heads with both his passing and dribbling ability.

It is a little surprising to see him playing in central defence as he is constantly looking for the ball and once he does get it he is both calm and willing to run forward with around 1.1 dribbles per game at a 77% success rate. This is a risky strategy as it can be fantastic when it pays off, with his passes and runs often opening up the opposition's defence, but it can be costly. This is something that needs to be worked on should a move be on the cards, but I can see a player here.

His passing is certainly a strength of his, and in the modern era, his style of play is a perfect fit for most teams. Completing around 25 passes per game at a 79% success rate, I expect these numbers to skyrocket should Lee make a move to a higher division. His 6ft 4 frame helps him win 3 Aerial duals per game and with a little bit of strength training you can expect both aerial and ground dual numbers to climb upwards.

A project player is the best way to describe him, with some work on his game needing polished. Working on his strength, tackling and his decision-making will be vital to his development, but should this be fixed there will be a very good player there. A change of position to a central midfield or Central defensive midfield role could be a game changer for Isaac.

Ideal Club:

Isaac has been linked heavily to EFL clubs such as Cardiff, Crawley and Walsall. These are all a step-up and would be a good move for his development. But a club I think should make a move is newly promoted SPFL side Falkirk. Falkirk play a high level possession based game and I can see Isaac fit in well. Should he perform at a consistent level, a move to an English championship side or higher will certainly be on the cards.
