The Swedish Allsvenkan is always a gold mine for scouts and clubs alike looking for young talent playing big minutes in a competitive standing and Sebastian Nanasi has been a standout for the past few seasons with his potential and ability alike on the up and up.

In the 2023 season, Nanasi notched up 2,495 minutes across 20 games notching up 11 goals and 7 assists. Already this season he has appeared in 12 games, starting all and adding 5 goals and 7 assists already, as well as finding himself in the team of the week 8 times.

5 goals is very impressive when you take a look at the stats, averaging 2.3 shots and 0.9 hitting the target. Majority of his shot's come from his fantastic agility, often beating his man and cutting inside and firing at the goal. A goal conversion of 19% is fantastic giving he is often on the wing. All of his goals this season have been from inside the box, making him the ideal creative forward for many teams across Europe.

Watching him with the ball at his feet brings pure joy to those sitting in the stands. Whether it is his quick feet, occassional nutmeg and his geniune willingness to run at his opponents, it is easy to see why he is a fan favourite at Malmo. Averaging 1.7 dribbles per game at an impressive 57%, these often lead to goalscoring chances whether that is Nanasi himself taking a shot or passing it forward. His playmaking is certainly a strong skill, averaging 80% accuracy on 37 passes per game as well as an impressive 3.4 key passes per game.

The modern Left winger is required to press his oppononent and Nanasi is oustanding at this as well. Recovering possession 1.2 times per game and putting up 4.3 ball recovery per game showcase his effectiveness at putting pressure on his opponent.

After starring in the youth set up of Swedish national team for a few years, he looks to have cemented his place in the Swedish team, making 3 appearances and already getting himself on the scoresheet. A move to Europe will no doubt increase the number of caps earned. Sadly Sweden did not qualify for the Euro's this summer in Germany but his domestic form is more than enough for scouts to go on. Already linked with many European clubs, including Celtic, Sporting Lisbon and Frankfurt, a move away from Sweden this summer looks inevitable.

Ideal Club:

Due to his impressive play style ticking the boxes of a huge number of champions league level clubs, it is hard to predict the move Nanasi will make. Should Celtic be willing to pay around 10 million euros to get him, then a move to the Scottish champions would be great. Celtic currently have a winger problem, with Luis Palma not impressing the East End faithful and Nanasi would be the ideal fit. Don't expect him to spend more than 2 season's with Celtic, similar to Jota the creative forward will catch heads from top 5 leagues. Another good move is the earlier mentioned Sporting Lisbon. A club that plays high pressing attacking football that automatically suits Nanasi's style of play, along with pairing him in a front three with countryman Viktor Gyokeres would strike fear into the hearts of the opposition as well as cementing Sporting's push for a European run. Sporting Scored an impressive 96 goals in the league in their title winning season and adding Nanasi will no doubt take that tally past 100.
